Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement Training Held at St Georges Church

Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) training was recently delivered at St George’s Church as part of the BCRP, a collaborative three-BID initiative. The session equipped customer-facing staff with essential skills to identify and support vulnerable individuals in hospitality and public settings.

Focusing on key risks such as intoxication, isolation, and drink spiking, the training also highlighted the importance of the “Ask for Angela” campaign in helping prevent sexual violence and crime. Attendees gained practical knowledge on how to safely intervene and create a more secure environment for everyone.
